A working example

Here's some examples of how I carry out my resprays and weathering to achieve the results that I do.

The first subject will be a Colas Rail class 37.

1. The process starts with striping the body of glazing and then prime it.

2. Next, orange is sprayed around the roof line for the cantrail stripe and once dry it is masked up.

3. Then apply the first main body colour.

4. Then apply the next colour until all livery colours have been applied.

5. Once dry, spray the body with gloss cote ready for transfers to be applied.

6. Apply the transfers and spray with 'clear' to seal the    transfers on.

7. Re-fit the glazing then re-fit the body onto the chassis.

8. Finally, the locomotive is given a test run to ensure everything still works properly.
